Brewing Methods or Coffee Methods are special devices to prepare black coffee in a non-traditional way. Today, in the best coffee shops in the world, baristas prepare hundreds of drinks with different Methods. Each client has their favorite and it is possible to find them up to the Competition level.

FIRST COFFEE METHODS COMPETITION IN EL SALVADOR - 2013
1st Brewing Methods Coffee Competition in EL SALVADOR! On April 20, 2013 we began to register students who would like to earn the title of Best Brewer in El Salvador. Brewing Methods Cup was held on May 4, 2013 where for the first time in El Salvador there was a competition to see who could get the best cup of black coffee with 5 possible Brewing Methods.
1st OFFICIAL COMPETITION BREWERS CUP EL SALVADOR 2019
This 2019 the first Official Competition of Coffee Methods was held in El Salvador. Very happy to report that the Winner was Alumnus Mike Candel, who achieved the victory of this competition with the help of the Barista Pro Academy.

Because it was an Official competition, organized by Government entities in El Salvador, Mike Candel was able to travel to Boston to represent El Salvador in the World Methods World Championship.
